GREEN ROOF SYSTEMS
Green Roof Systems typically consist of a waterproof roof membrane, drainage mat, filter fabrics, an anti-root mat, and protection boards to form a complete watertight protected system. The waterproofing system is then partially or completely covered with soil, or a growing medium, and native vegetation. The term “green roof” may also be used to indicate roofs that utilize some form of “green” technology, such as solar panels and photovoltaic modules.
